India's first Smart Tech Lab Summit finally commenced! Indeed a journey worth sharing.
The concept came in picture after a concentrated study of market. As the research proceeded it left us with the highlights of major pain points possessed by various sectors and leaving us with a thirst for solutions and reasons. It was an expedition to hunt the root cause of problem and we landed up discovering the importance of Laboratory in an organization. With further chase in the matter we found a major slit between technology and science; the phrase commonly used but far away in existence together.
The instrumental initiative shaped up with 4 Key themes comprising of 17 major topics (In total) presented by experts from different vertical in a 2 day conference platform comprising of Mind boggling keynotes, insightful panel discussion, thought provoking case studies, interactive roundtables and load of networking sessions. The summit owned a vision to faster technology adoption in the laboratory, reducing the probability of errors, cutting short the market reach time, offering them with much more optimized process and gratifying with International competence. The scepticism about data security and breach was also discussed, debated and sorted.
The format of the event further helped the attendees open about their current challenges with the industry experts and sponsors both. As the sessions proceeded, the participants envisaged the role technology could play in their laboratories and the future of laboratory technologies and its adoptions. By the end of the conference, one thing everybody vowed to implement is the best in class technologies in their laboratories for achieving significant momentum.
The event featured industry experts carrying decades of experience with hands-on experience working in laboratories and technology implementations. With the event bringing together two types of participants: First - Organisations who have implemented technologies in Labs and are looking to advance it; Second - Organisations who have the basic understanding on the benefits of technologies in Lab but not sure where to start from. Considering this, the event featured presenters who not only spoke about the benefits of going digital in their laboratories and the main pillars to move forward, but how to best utilise the current technologies implemented.
During the presentations and interactive discussions, key aspects which needed utmost consideration were:
- Regulatory Compliance
- Managing Pool of Scientific Data
- Reaching Early Informed Decisions
- Security and IP Protection
- Early to Market
- Error Visibility
- Reducing Validation Costs
- Overcoming Production and Operational Efficiency
- Coordination and Visibility to avoid discrepancies
Special thanks to our “Host state partner” “Dept. of IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka” for realizing the core competence our edition has to offer and investing their trust in us. Government initiative of “Innovate in India (I3)” further boosted our morale and helped us delivering the quality intended
The summit was powered by major industry player like “Dassault Systems” and “ACD Labs” who partnered with us as Gold partner and Master class partner respectively. Smart Tech lab 2018 established the fact that the lab is ready for change and digital transformation is gathering its momentum.
